Fat Burning Diet
You can craft your own fat burning diet that suits you perfectly. A fat burning diet should stick to these guidelines:
1. Have foods that make you lean and healthy.
2. Keep your caloric intake under control.
3. Contain foods that you like so you will stay on the diet.
Your diet will have nutrient dense foods - those that have a high nutrient value but low calorie count. See examples of nutrient dense foods listed in this article. You can add foods whatever nutrient dense foods you like to the lists.
Lean proteins should make up about 1/3 of your daily calories - the rest should be equally divided with fruits, vegetables and natural starchy carbs or whole grains. It is up to you whether you reduce your whole grain intake because of the glycemic effect.
Nuts, avacados or extra virgin olive oil add the healthy fat that will round out your diet. You can also eat dairy if you like - fat free milk, low fat cottage cheese or cheese, low fat or fat free yogurt.
Your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) should be found to decide how many calories you need to eat to meet your goals. Your BMR is the total calories your body burns every day to sustain your current weight if you did nothing but sleep all day. Use this number as a foundation of determining your daily calorie count. There are a lot of these calculators on the internet, do a search for "BMR Calculator".
There might be times when you are a a restaurant and you just can't pass up that cheesy lasagna, or you just want a piece of chocolate cake. Don't fret if you give in - just remember that as long as you stick to your diet 90% of the time you will be fine. You won't ruin your whole week if you usually eat 3 - 5 meals a day, 7 days a week, and you eat whatever you want for 2 - 3 of those meals.
You will feel more healthy right away if you follow a plan like this - your personal diet.
