One of the best first steps in increasing the results you get from your efforts to lose weight is to go into intense exercise. Exercise in general is good for you. A diet that is low in calories and low in carbohydrates puts your body into a conservation mode. Slows your metabolism so you do not need much energy. You can reactivate it immediately with a cheat day. Increased caloric intake will force your body to increase once again your metabolism so you can burn those extra calories.
